The aim of the Chairman’s Safety Awards is to recognise outstanding safety performance and initiative across our clients, staff and employees. With safety being our first corporate value, people who contribute to safety through safe work practices, talking safety and influencing safety within the workplace, will be recognised and rewarded for their efforts in making a difference to reducing injuries and incidents.

• Steven Cooper (SKILLED WFS VIC) was recognised for outstanding OHS achievement by an individual employee;
• Michael Whittle Account Manager SKILLED Townsville was recognised for outstanding OHS achievement by an individual staff member;
• The Wetherill Park Trades Operations Team SKILLED NSW, was recognised for outstanding OHS achievement by a team or workplace; and
• RTASS (Roadtek) Queensland was recognised for outstanding OHS achievement by a client.

EGM Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Nick Daly presented the awards during week four of Safety Month, February 2009. The award recipients received a trophy and/or certificate and the well-deserved recognition for truly living out our number one corporate value.
