SKILLED has forged a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with one of Australia’s leading universities. For six years, SKILLED has managed an outsourced workforce that exceeds one hundred. In 1998, to achieve corporate objectives, the university rationalised suppliers through a competitive tender process. Through rationalisation, the university was able to effectively standardise remuneration processes, positively affect productivity and satisfaction amongst their casual workforce.

In 1999, Australia Post appointed SKILLED as the maintenance service provider for new technology being installed at two locations, Dandenong and Strathfield NSW known as Tray Management System. Since then, Australia Post has embarked on a number of major change programs designed to improve commercial performance and profitability. In Melbourne, network rationalisation resulted in the centralisation of the city's letter processing at Dandenong Letters Centre (DLC). To continue the centralisation of mail processing facilities, Australia Post in 2002, purchased additional equipment and transferred existing letter sorting equipment to increase the production capacity of the DLC. SKILLED was engaged to effect the installation of the equipment which required complex scheduling processes so as not to affect the productivity of either letter centre.

Chris Black has been with SKILLED for four and a half years after having started as a Branch Administrator/Receptionist at the Bunbury branch in WA's southwest.
Today, Chris has progressed through to the role of Relief Operations Supervisor and is responsible for recruiting and placing employees around the state. Her 'relief' role means that at any time she can find herself at any one of the ten branches in Western Australia.

State Operations Manager for SKILLED in Western Australia, Rob Malpass, has been with SKILLED for 23 years after starting out with the company as a Boilermaker/Welder in 1981.
During his 23 years, Rob has been on assignments, which included trips to Jakarta, New Zealand and Melbourne. For a period of four years he was the Branch Manager at Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
